What is society's opinion of a work at home mom? Why is it when we think of a mom who stays at home, the automatic reaction is - "Oh, so you don't work?" Let's get something straight right from the beginning...ALL moms are WORK AT HOME MOMS! Cleaning, laundry, cooking, shopping for groceries & running the school car pool may not look like the best or most recognised professions, but there is a very good chance that you are doing all these, & more, every day of your life!

Don't believe for one minute that moms who work all day are in some way exempt from all this...you know as well as I do that this is simply not true.

There are many positives to staying at home & being a good mom to your children, but you do still miss being able to earn your own income. You probably still want to continue developing your skills & knowledge. You realise that you will still need to maintain the skills of your profession, in case you may ever return. You also wish you had a way to transform the time you now have into money, without compromising your need to be with your children at home.

There are ways for you to enjoy the security of a second income!

People are realising that by starting a home-based business, they can achieve the freedom they desire. As long as you have the desire to succeed & the willingness to learn new skills, you can also soon be enjoying the freedom of being a work at home mom & having the pride of being able to contribute to the family economic system.

Better still, you will never have to feel guilty about the occasional dinner out!

You may even be in a position to give your husband the freedom to look at a career change he may have been hinting at.
